This cartoon will be made because of the Organizational Committee request. Mammoth will be an official mascot of the Russian Olympic Games. The authors of the cartoon are sure, that it will help to make the image of mammoth popular and tell to rest of the world, that mammoths didn’t die, they just fallen asleep. Plot of the cartoon has strong connection to sport. “Even if our mammoth flies from St. Petersburg to Sochi on board the plane, he will be wearing skis, for instance”, said Ilkovskij (one of cartoon makers).

Animators are going to create more than 100 short series. The first cartoon is going to hit Russian TV screens in the middle of November. It will tell about mammoths in Russia and their sport preferences. Various music will be used it the cartoon and composer Oleg Popkov is going to write main song to it.

At the end of the Summer Olympic Games, Misha touches hearts of audience, people and guests. He was more than cute, he was so affecting and provoking tender emotions. He flew into the blue sky together with a song “Good Bye, Russia, Good Bye!” Of course, Russians are rather extraordinary people, so, first of all, they wanted to send an alive, real bear into the sky, but then realized – it is too dangerous! There are some suggestions, that Cheburashka can be a new symbol of the Olympic Games. Whether it is true or not, we don’t know, but this creature deserves some attention. Cheburashka is a rather old boy or girl, actually, it is still unknown! So, you can make your wn suggestions, I think it won’t humiliate his or her dignity! Cheburashka is 41 year old and he or she out of a sudden appeared from the box of oranges, here we can make traces to Aphrodite, the ancient Goddess. So, to tell the truth, its origin is still unfamiliar to us, that is why there are so many mysteries around it.

Most of all I like her or his appearance – big, bright, round eyes. Strange, noticeable and even huge ears. Cheburashka is a very kind creature, he or she has a friend Gena. Gena is a big green crocodile; he reads press, smokes a pipe and works in a Zoo. Russian’s President Vladimir Putin is famous throughout the world, but Cheburashka is as famous as he is. So, there will be a free voting and, who knows, may be Cheburashka will have an opportunity to represent the Russian Federation.

And what about Olympic Misha? He is lovely. Will it offend him? Oh, no. First of all, he is not mean and greedy, Cheburashka is a friend of him. The second point, he is a summer symbol, so he decided to wait till the next summer Olympic Games! Misha, we are waiting for you!

The 22nd Olympic Games will take place in the Russian Black Sea Resort, named Sochi. Sochi has been striving for this honourable event for long 27years, after the Olympic Games 1980. I was in Russia 2 years ago, I really liked this country, especially Cheburashks, Krorkodil Gena, samovar with hot and strong black Russian tea, matrioshkas, lapti – these things are so cute! Their people are so friendly and their hospitality is undisputable! Russia, the official name The Russian Federation is the biggest country in the world, and don’t believe that there are only 3 location there; I mean Moscow, St. Petersburg and Siberia! Now you already know Sochi.

Sochi is famous for its fashionable and expensive Black Sea resorts. And, of course, it is not all about vodka and ushankas (hats), its traditions is much older and interesting. Also, it is one of the most powerful countries, it has nuclear weapon, oil, gas and it is a member of the Great 8. But, it is another story to tell. So, at the 4th of July Russian city Sochi was announced a host of the Winter Olympic Games. As for the Russians, they deserved this nomination, and they won it and leave PyeongChang behind. They got 51 votes and its main rival only 47. Russia won only in the second circle of elections in Guatemala city. Olympic Games can be viewed as a new milestone for the Russian Federation; it will help to develop a new system of sport games, to develop the infrastructure of sport and to outline new perspectives! It is planned to build the following objects: skating rinks, new Olympic Stadium, the Main Media Center, and, it goes without saying, the main Olympic Village. A lot of Commissions, from different countries (MOC representatives), visited Sochi and made an objective decision. President Vladimit Poutin mentioned that 12 billion dollars are already allocated for Olympic Games Development. It is amazing, in 7 years, Russia can have the most developed and sophisticated sport complex throughout the world. It opens completely another opportunities for Russian winter sports, it will make this country even more popular and more powerful!
