Do you like waves? And what about oceans and sees? The strength of nature is really amazing and mind-blowing. Once a very sad case happened to me. I am a capable and fearless swimmer and I was enjoying the waves but suddenly the water flow was THAT awful that I failed to cope with it and in a couple of minutes I was in a terrible whirl. I could hardly breathe. The saddest part was – everything happened 3 meters from the shore … And nobody took my screams seriously. It was very horrifying. And now simply pictures of really breathtaking waves:

This one is charming and so elegant:

The second wave is horrible and very terrifying:

And these two are simply nice:

It goes without saying that Easter weekends are always busy and the traffic is really tough, however, sometimes nice surprises do happen. For example, the weather can be disgusting or financial situation is too bad for travelling. I would like to provide you with the following Easter travelling tips in order to avoid unpleasant surprises.

thoroughly listen to the radio and TV forecasts and avoid overcrowded roads during this time;

carefully plan your route and always think of an alternative way;

always have some extra time for your journey;

don’t forget to take something to eat and drink;

what is more take a warm blanket and a book with you (nobody knows what can happen during your trip and nights are very cold);

be a responsible and careful driver – stick to the speed limit;

never overload your vehicle.

And be optimistic whatever happens!

… It is so cold outside … The weather is chilly and furious: severe wind rushes into your face and provokes nothing but tears and anger. How could it happen to us: I thought he was about to propose and he was about to breakup and call it quits. I am in despair and I am freezing … There is the only one thought in my mind: that is not the way everything should be and this winter is not where I belong right now… I have to find the way out … I have … I have to change this country for something warmer … At least for a couple of weeks. Where to go? Where?

No more tears, no more lies, no more you in my life … warm crystal blue waters have washed away everything and cured me … This country is full of attractions and friendly people, always ready to help …

Thank you, Thai! )))

We have heard about underwater restaurants and cafes, houses and inns, but have you ever enjoyed underwater driving? Thanks to awesome engineering ideas and the 4.6-mile Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel (MMMBT) this dream is a reality since 1992!

Views

This bridge cost $400 million to build. And it can be viewed as a completely victory of progress over nature. The bridge seems to be so small and so unstable. If to look at its aerial photos it seems to be built right on the water. To drive there is a real pleasure, you will enjoy one of the most spectacular views in the whole world, breathtaking views: enormous expanse of water left, right, and ahead of you and nothing more, just blue sky, water and never ending line of the road … and then a tunnel out of the blue.

Figures

The figures are even more impressive than views. This bridge is not only the most expensive project in the history of this place but the biggest and the most large-scale one. The MMMBT includes a four-lane tunnel that is 4,800 feet long, two special man-made islands,15 prefabricated segments each 300 feet long for constructing an underwater tube.

There are 33 special cameras on the bridge monitoring the traffic flow. You can listen to your favourite radio stations while in tunnel. This feature was made in order for operators to be able to aware people of any accidents in the tunnel.

I am ready to bet that it is really difficult to find a single person that doesn’t like traveling. But to my mind, it is really challenging to find people that think about the importance of travel insurance before their vacation.

Most people think that it is really not necessary and it is about exceptionally extra expenses. But it means that they have never tried one. As a rule, such insurances are rather budget-friendly and anyway it is mush better to have insurance and never use it than not to have it when you need it.

Travel insurance can include a lot of options, for example, travel medical insurance (in the cases of emergency it will help you to stay save and sound), trip protection (it takes care of unexpected crises), emergency evacuation (in case will happen with you during your trip, you will be transported where you need), annual multi-trip plans (is a great opportunity for you to trip all year round and have your travel insurance always ready) and etc.

Storms … they can be named one of the most mysterious and unknown phenomena in the world. They take lives and houses, they destroy everything they touch and turn lives of people upside down. Most terrifying storms are an awful combination of terrible weather conditions, destructions and lasting impacts on people and land. They happen on the whim of weather and that is the most dangerous thing (((

Bhola Cyclone

It happened in Bangladesh. This devastating cyclone stuck in 1970. The world has never seen a cyclone THAT severe. 38 years later it is still considered to be one of the deadliest natural disasters in modern times. The storm was powerful and long.

Between 300,000 and 500,000 people lost their lives and thousands of people were left homeless. The cyclone ruined everything on its way and this land turned into a complete mess.

Hurricane Katrina

There were a lot of hurricanes in the USA, but this one was the worst ever. According to the death toll it can’t be named the most powerful one but its financial impact was incomparable. This storm has changed the entire region.

It happened in 2005 and nobody was expecting this small storm to grew into a Category 5 hurricane. New Orlean was dying from really severe flooding.

This storm took lives of 1,500 people in four states, thousands of houses were either destroyed or simply damaged.

Tri-State Tornado

It can be named the deadliest tornado in US history. It happened in 1925. The tornado traveled the distance of 352 kilometers in a 3 and a half hours. Scientists still don’t know whether it was a single tornado or a family of them.

It killed 695 people and destroyed 15,000 homes.

Have you ever experienced this feeling: there are a lot of countries in the world and you don’t know which one to choose and where to spend your holidays? All counties seem to be so attractive but you have to choose the only one (I don’t mean special cruises).

But today I am ready to share with you 5 top destinations for this summer (and it doesn’t mean that there are no other places to enjoy, but there you’ll feel yourself comfortable with or without your family):

HAWAII

It’s not a place, it’s – Paradise. But unfortunately, “thanks” to numerous tourists, gone are the days, when prices were cheap. But amazing white sand beaches, clear blue lagoons and friendly festive atmosphere are beyond any praises.

LONDON
