I am stunned and speechless – it seems to me we rarely see more impressive and beautiful places. We are looking at the Luminarie De Cagna that is an Italian family business founded in 1930 and now it is one of the most attractive building that is a giant colonnade made of wood and hundreds of thousands of colored lights.

Numerous tourists and city dwellers can’t take their eyes off the following building. The entrance area is an imposing 28 meters high and it seems to be more a fairy tale gallery, surrounded by light and color that a usual cathedral.

By the way, the Cathedral is powered with 55,000 LED lights consumes only 20Kwatt / h of electricity. It is a common knowledge, that the Luminarie De Cagna stops a lot of viewers at the recent 2012 Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium.

I must admit the light and color are jaw dropping and the best things is the fact that the whole shebang only uses 20 kilowatts per hour of energy.

Brilliant!

Gibraltar Airport really belongs to one of the most amazing and unusual airports ever, that is the place where planes and cars meet daily. Everything is rather easy, when a plane has to take off or land, traffic is shut down.

Gibraltar Airport is the only one place in the world where the runway actually intersects with a major highway. And it looks so unusual and cool, I would love to look at the pictures over and over again.

.

They say that sooner or later this interesting roadway is set to be replaced with an underground tunnel. But right now everything is just the way it is.

I am fond of this airport.

Our world is full of awesome and unusual places and I would love to tell you a couple of words about one of the strangest and most unusual places located in central Georgia’s Imereti region.

I am talking about an imposing 130 foot rock pillar called Katskhi that has been venerated since ancient times.By the way, you should understand that it is not Georgia, the American state, but Georgia a small country between Europe and Asia.

Katskhi lies less than 10 km from a small mining city called Chiatura and it is one of the most photographed and popular places in the country.

I am ready to bet you will love the fact that a Georgian monk has been living in this rock building for nearly 20 years. What is more, the high church is estimated to have been built in between the 6th and 8th centuries.

Would you love to visit it one day?

I am ready to bet you will really love the following Atlantis Road offering really spectacular views, unbelievably sharp turns and wild nature. By the way, the following road is in The Guardian’s list of the world’s best road trips.

The Atlantic Road is a 8-kilometre long stretch of road between the towns of Kristiansund and Molde, which are the two main population centres in the county of Møre og Romsdal in Fjord Norway. In general, the following road starts approximately 30 kilometres southwest of Kristiansund and ends 47 kilometres north of Molde.

In 2005 the following road was named “Norway’s construction of the century” and it was rewarded the status national tourist route.

You will be satisfied while travelling this road since there are four panoramic view- and rest areas with facilities along the Atlantic Road. I am ready to bet you would like to know that many tourists choose to travel to the Atlantic Road during the autumn in order to have a look at the raging storms that pound the road.

The road was opened in 1989. I would like to make such a drive

I would like to ask you one question: have you ever slept at the airport? I am ready to bet your answer will be NO, because even the thought makes your shiver. The idea scares you and makes you feel horrible.

But some people do sleep like this. Poor people … No! Not anymore. At least, since the invention of brand new airport sleep pots.

I must admit these sleep boxes look everything but boring. They are clean, modern, and pleasant-looking. As to me, the only one evident minus is … their size. Actually, the following boxes won’t suit those who are afraid of closed spaces.

The box is 2mx1.4mx2.3m. The main bed is 2×0.6m. All boxes come with an automatic system which changes the linens, ventilation system, built-in LCD television, wireless internet access, and power sockets.

I think it is a perfect place to spend time in between flights!

Mono Lake, is situated in the USA and it really can be named the oldest lake in North America. However, it used to lose its water only by evaporation, so it has a strong resemblance to the Dead Sea in Israel. Mono Lake (rhymes with “OH no”) is located completely within the state of California.

The lake is famous because of its importance to the state and its incredible dramatic tufa towers. This lake is very salty and according to numerous reviews it is beautiful when viewed from any direction and all tourists will find something interesting and unusual here.

To be precise and to make it clear for you – the Mono Lake visitor center is located just off US 395 north of Lee Vining.
