New York, a city of dreams and great people, a place that offers a myriad of adventures and can make all your dreams come true. It is a common knowledge, that the Eiffel Tower is a symbol of Paris and the Empire State Building together with the Rockefeller centre are situated in New York. That’s why Rick Bell, the head of the Center for Architecture, decided to widen our horizons and tell us more about the other prominent “must-visit” places in New York. So, forget about finding these two buildings in it.
But, please, don’t think of this list as something very changeable and very difficult to understand, because it does include the Conde Nast Building in Times Square (actually, it is a skyscraper, but a green one) and the Apple store in Soho, (because of it incredible glass bridge and staircase).
Conde Nast building: It is a great 264-meters tall skyscraper, located right in the middle of Times Square. The building consists of 48 storeys of offices. It was called “environmentally correct”, ‘cause it meets all the requirements of both state and world, thus, providing people working in it with the exceptionally clean, fresh and useful working conditions.
