There is a fantastic place in Austria – Gruner See (Green Lake). It is a real natural wonder – you will never guess what happens there. This lake has two faces each one is better than another.

From August to April this lake is a green park with paths, benches, green meadows and in the spring everything changes dramatically, the water level in the lake rises because of melting snow, flooding lawns, bridges and benches.

The most stunning thing – the visibility remains strikingly clear – 30 meters, probably, if not more. That is exactly the time to visit this lake.

Mono Lake, is situated in the USA and it really can be named the oldest lake in North America. However, it used to lose its water only by evaporation, so it has a strong resemblance to the Dead Sea in Israel. Mono Lake (rhymes with “OH no”) is located completely within the state of California.

The lake is famous because of its importance to the state and its incredible dramatic tufa towers. This lake is very salty and according to numerous reviews it is beautiful when viewed from any direction and all tourists will find something interesting and unusual here.
