But, recently I found out, that a famous movie with Leonardo DiCaprio “Beach” was filmed there. On Phi Phi Island. It is a real Paradise on the Earth, white sand beaches, warm and gentle water of the tide. It is amazing that Leo was there too.
This video is a perfect one, like no other it shows natural beauty of this region and reminds us, that everything can look ideal and astonishing even without a people’s intruding! The Islands look deserted and uninhabited, they seem untouched, the water is so clear and fresh, it was an ideal place for the movie “Beach”. Thailand itself is very popular among the tourists, but I think this movie add some popularity to it!
My friend told that the name of excursion is “Phi Phi Island Maya Beach Leonardo DiCaprio”, may be one day it will be called in the honour of Leonardo!
