The Millau bridge was opened to traffic 4 years ago by President Jacques Chirac. Its main function is to relieve heavy congestion on the roads during the summer holiday season. The bridge stands on 7 pillars and from the first sight seems to float in clouds.

This bridge offers not only one of the most fascinating driving experience in the whole world, it has a couple of observation points for tourists to enjoy the views )))

There are five resorts in Courchevel and sometimes it is even possible to find a budget-friendly variant. Actually, it was the first France’s real jet-set resort area. Nowadays it has the world’s largest cablecar and it’s own airport.  

But although it’s ski facilities, there are a lot of advantages of visiting Courchevel in summer:

A question which of these 2 incredible pictures to take had been puzzling me for a couple of hours, before I decided to choose both of them and show your great contrasts of the magnificent Alps. 

The first picture shows nice color contrasts between the sky and the mountains. And it is the French Alps.

And the 2nd one shares with us beautiful countryside with gorgeous clouds and the sharp mountains.  It is the Swiss Alps. Both of them are so realistic!

This island took its name from the local Tahitian language and since there is no “B,” in it, so the island is actually called Pora Pora, and means “first born.”

Bora Bora is a volcanic island surrounded by coral reefs and stunningly beautiful lagoon. French is spoken here and the population is 4, 650, land area – 44 sq km (16.9 sq miles). The climate is very warm and humid, mostly sunny weather.

As far as this island depends on tourism, it is besieged by luxurious resorts and hotels (I like the most their bungalows on stilts), they offer unforgettable views on mountains and the lagoon.

Bora Bora is perfect for snorkeling, shark feeding excursions and even scuba diving.

Because of the rich forests of the Sologne the Chateau was intended to be only a hunting lodge, but in reality he managed to spend there only 42 days during his reign.

This castle is magnificent and attractive. It is tall, wide, and richly ornate (just like any other castle). The Chateau conveys a sense of wealth. Such kings as Louis XIV and Charles V spent time there. And this list can’t be full without such names as: Stanislas Leczcinski, two Marshals of France and even Leonardo da Vinci.

What I like the most about this castle – its unusual double-helix staircase, although it is not finished yet . The castle had many owners and was finally nationalized in the 1930′s.

• The castle is surrounded by a 52.5‑km² (13,000‑acre) wooded park;
• All its defensive elements are purely decorative;
