You perfectly know where you and your friends go when they want to relax and simply have some fun but would you like to know where do celebrities go? You are welcome …

Claudia Schiffer

One of the hottest female models ever and simply a successful and beautiful woman loves all things luxury. So it goes without saying that her beloved place to visit is Dubai and her beloved hotel to stay is The Burj Al Arab. And I can’t agree more, since when I think of luxury, I think of this hotel. What is more the star favourite restaurant is La Cuchara in Palma, Majorca.

Nathaniel Parker

She goes crazy about Bali – and I guess we understand her since it is really one of the greatest and most beautiful places on the whole Earth. Her beloved restaurant is the Oasis at the Las Alamandas, Mexico. It is a kind of fish restaurant where you can point a fish in the sea and you will get it.

Jade Jagger

She is in love with the Maldives, their white sand and the turquoise sea. Her favourite hotel in the world is the Mercer Hotel.

And one more story about Dubai’s mind-blowing design and architecture – this time they are going to build the world’s first refrigerated beach at a luxury hotel. The following masterpiece will help beach lovers not to burn their feet. Just imagine, the whole construction will look like a real one (I mean natural) and will prevent people from overheating. Special heat-absorbing pipes will be built under the sand and giant wind blowers will be placed right on the beach.

But everything is not THAT great, a lot of scientists claim that such projects can have a very important and potential impact on climate change.

The concept is completely clear, super rich people don’t care of weather and climate problems they simply hate scalding sand and want to walk on a bit colder variant.

Have you ever noticed that Dubai is all things big and rich and super? These people have and want to have everything the best and the newest: Palm Islands, the Burj al Arab hotel, the second Louvre … And now they are ready to create 25 percent larger masterpiece than the iconic fountains at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

The project will be held by Dubai’s prominent developer, Emaar Properties and the fountains currently will be the largest in the world. The fountains have no name so far but the whole world already knows that they will be capable of shooting water over 150 metres into the air, the height of a 50 storey building, and stretch over 275 metres!!! Frankly speaking, one of the biggest projects ever.

Sometimes it sees to me that this country has only money and no creativity. They still everything they like and make it a bit bigger in order to make the headlines. The state is going to spend $218 millions!!! The fountains will shoot 22,000 gallons of water in the air at any given moment and by the way, you can win a cash prize of $27,225 if you are creative enough to invent the best name to these fountains. The structure is scheduled to be operation by 2009. And I just wonder, whether poor tourists will have enough time to enjoy the whole attractions of Dubai?

Dubai is a magical emirate, showing unbelievable economical growth and stunning combination of past and future, old and almost fell into ruins buildings with brand new and super modern ones. These modern buildings are cool, bright and look at their predecessors with obvious sarcasm. How am I to know about it? Well, I am going to Dubai and thoroughly read everything about this emirate. So, Dubai has more luxurious hotels than any other country, more property for sale, many international companies invest their money in Dubai, it is a glam, stylish, cosmopolitan, wealthy international business and pleasure hub.

Interesting fact! Concentration of Haute Couture dresses in Dubai reaches the highest possible level. Sheiks have deep pockets and adore their wives.

As recently as 30 years ago Dubai was a sandy desert and now it is a popular international center and an attractive resort. Everything in Dubai aims to impress and to my mind, the seven star Burj Al Arab hotel is the most unusual and cool building in Dubai. Have you ever seen a hotel this nice?

Life is very expensive in Dubai, and governmental far-reaching plans about future intensive building don’t make it cheaper. More and more people think about Dubai property. I am not a millionaire and just don’t feel that way about Dubai (at least now). But, one day I would definitely like to see it all with my own eyes and to buy property abroad. Especially, when Dubai offers such profitable suggestions. To my mind, Dream Homes WW can help me greatly. It is an international lifestyle and investment property site with properties around the world.

And why not? Everybody can dream and may be one day, dreams will come true. Enjoy photos, my dears, seeing is believing.

<img alt="Burj Al Arab" src="http://travellingboard.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/burj-20al-20arab-small.jpg" align="left" border="0" / />Burj Al Arab… For many years this hotel have been attracting my attention! It is the only one hotel, possessing a 7-star status (but on the official web-site he is still viewed as a 5-star hotel)! It was built by Said Khalili and Tom Wright is his founding-father, I mean an architect. Nowadays, it is the tallest hotel in the world (321 metres high) and there is an artificial island under it. Burj Al Arab is situated in Dubai and from arabic its title can be translated as “Tower of the Arabs”, it symbolizes Dubai’s cities development and it has a strong resemblance to a billow-sail. In the course of time it justified its destination – to be a Dubai’s visiting card, the same as the Eiffel Tower in Paris. $1,5 was spent on its erecting. Luxury and luxurious are almost synonyms to this hotel. Inspite of its look, this hotels consists only of 28 floors and has 202 rooms. According to the statistic data it is the most expensive hotel that can be found! You will pay not less than $1,000 per one night! Each day, each year millions of people visit this hotel without paying attention to money. They stay at fashionable restaraunts: Al Muntaha and Al Mahara and enjoy picturesque landscapes of Dubai. By the way, in the best hotel there must be the best restaraunt and Al Mahara is not an exception. This hotel ia a masterpiece, a creature of a genious and as any outstanding person, place, building etc. it has a lot of critics. Most of them consider it to be a glorious victory of dreams and wastefullness over a common sense! Money works wonders! And, as to my mind, it is a decent “face” of rich and prosperous country! The wealthy have their own rules! Let’s follow them and enjoy the view of this unusual and gorgeous hotel!
