I have already written a lot about Hawaii and I’m still insistent and going on with my stories about this magical place. So, today, I’m telling you about one of the most popular and top beaches in the world – Poipu beach. It’s a breathtakingly beautiful place with splendid, paradise-like scenes, amazing white sand and clear, blue water.

This beach belongs to one of the safest beaches on Kauai (it is situated on the South Shore and its left side is of particular safety). Poipu Kai resort is ideal for: picnics, active rest (snorkeling, surfing, swimming with the endangered Green Sea Turtles, enjoying Monk Seals, kayaking, biking, helicopter tours, golf, sailing etc.), family rest and many other activities. The sun shines there all year round, thus, sunsets are really incredible, colours bright and sands white.

The best thing about Poipu is its convenient location, the paradise starts with you simply opening the door of your house. So, Poipu is not only about crystal-blue water and stunning natural beauty, it offers, first of all, a large variety of restaurants, cafes, night clubs and almost all types of accommodations from luxurious hotels to simple bed-and-breakfasts. Most Kauai resorts offer expansive lawns, gardens, nice paths, clean and stylish interiors, all the necessary amenities, beach towels, wireless Internet connection, private telephone, kitchens with microwave and dishwasher.

Sun-Kissed Sydney, Australia

Australia (the official name – the Commonwealth of Australia) can be named the smallest continent between the two oceans: the Pacific and the Indian one. But, actually, Australia is washed by 3 oceans. Australian capital is entitled Canberra. Australia is an incredibly large country, it has everything: mountains, desert areas, fertile regions etc. Population of this country is rather large 21 million. If to turn to etymology, Australia is a Latin-word, and it can be interpreted as “South Land”. One of Cyprus beachesA lot of words can be told about Cyprus. Both positive and negative remarks are a common thing. No doubts, it has strong connection to history. Walking through the dark passages of Paphos Castle, touching its old, rough walls, looking at the immovable “face” of blue waters remain you about Ancient times, times of Alexander the Great and well-known Cleopatra. Even Aphrodite was born here (according to Greek mythology) and chose Cyprus as a further place of living.

Pafos_castleNowadays, Cyprus or the Republic of Cyprus is a large, modern and quickly developing country where the past meets the present and together they are making future. Cyprus is washed by the Mediterranean Sea and each year attracts more than 2 million people from all over the world. This island is opened to tourists 4 seasons a year! Cyprus, it is 10,000 km2 of enchanting beaches, olive and citrus trees and amazing mountains. There are two official languages: Greek and Turkish but English is commonly used. And the official currency is the Cyprus pound.

Stones in Cyprus beachCyprian cuisine is really delicious. Among the most frequently used ingredients are regional herbs and spices, fruits and vegetables, such as green beans and peppers, carrots, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, lettuce. Seafood dishes are very widespread. And, of course, visiting Cyprus you have to taste their wine in order to perceive the character and spirit of Mediterranean.
