• Phi Phi Leh, Thailand—The Beach (2000)

This movie and this beach definitely occupy the first place. I am ready to bet everybody perfectly remembers the scene where Leonardo DiCaprio swims beneath a wall of cliffs, and find a real paradise … an idyllic place. This incredible beach is located on Phi Phi Leh island in the Andaman Sea, Maya Bay was digitally enhanced for the movie. Believe it or not but the bay looks that spectacular in real life as well. Thailand rocks!

• Petit Tabac, St. Vincent and the Grenadines—Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)

A must-have for those who adore all adventures of Johnny Depp. This beach is a part of the Tobago Cays Marine Park in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Petit Tabac. This place is completely uninhabited and highly protected and it looks damn attractive.

• Devil’s Beach, Nanuya Levu Island (Turtle Island), Fiji – The Blue Lagoon (1980)

A lot of water has passed under the bridge but I still do remember the stunning natural scenes this film offers. Oh, Brooke Shields looked fantastic in the white sanded blue-watered lagoon.

• Fernando de Noronha, Brazil

Fernando de Noronha is a Brazilian island named after a 16th-century Portuguese nobleman. The funniest thing he had never seen this place before. This island is famous for snow-white sands and emerald waters, you will never be able to take your eye off this beauty.

• Navagio beach, Greece

The beach of Navagio or Shipwreck or even Zakynthos belongs to the most famous of Zakynthos beaches and one of the most famous beaches of Greece.There are two trademark of this beach – the first one is the location – a private and hidden cave and the second one is its turquoise and crystal-clear blue waters.

Forget about civilization here, it means no lifeguard, no facilities, seasonal high surf and amateur snorkeling and diving. 

• Pfeiffer Beach

Of course I can tell you that the following beach is famous for its sunsets but, actually, not only because of them. The hills surrounding this Californian beach are extremely rich in Manganese Garnet. Ii washes down onto the beach every day thus creating a whimsical colour scheme. The entire beach looks like an abstract pink and purple painting.

• Punalu’u Beach

Punalu’u Beach is the most famous and highly visited black sand beaches on Hawaii ‘s Big Island. Apart from enjoying incredible views of black sand you can watch the sea turtles, swimming and even snorkelling. This black sand is actually volcanic rock, that get its colouring when cooled and met by the ocean. It is forbidden to take this sand and home since a volcano goddess Pele can put a curse on you.
