If you have never been to Tel Aviv and you would like to visit this charming city there can’t be a better time. The city of Tel Aviv is on the verge of the new year and winter has finally come. The most important event is Hannukah – the Jewish alternative to Christmas. Also, here is a list of the places you should visit in Tel Aviv for sure.
- Ben-Gurion House
I am ready to bet the following house will be of great interest for those who would like to find more about Israeli history. Former Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and his family used to live there. The house was built in 1931, and it still looks the way it looked many years ago. The main attraction of the house is a huge gallery, offering more than 20,000 books. Admission is free.
No matter where you live the easiest way to reach Tel Aviv is by plane. Flights to Tel Aviv are comfortable and frequent.
- The Museum of the History of Tel Aviv
This museum will be opened in a couple of weeks, and according to its creators it will offer the finest and biggest collection of art ever. I am ready to bet it will be a real city gem. There will be two exhibitions after the opening – the music centre will offer a number of concerts; and the Bialik House will has a poetry evening.
- Habimah Square
This cultural complex belongs to one of the most interesting and important among Israel’s sightseeings. It consists of the Habimah Theatre, Mann Auditorium, and the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion.
Tel Aviv is a very interesting city and it won’t leave you indifferent! Don’t miss!
