Cherapunji is not a word to make your crackjaw, it is a town in the Indian state of Meghalaya and means “the abode of clouds”. It is officially named the wettest place on Earth, because all the possible rains in the world fall here. People here can even pull your leg and tell you that rainfall is not measured in inches but in feet.

Cherapanjee is a town of constant waterfalls and mysterious caves with numerous stalactites. Driving here can be called one of the most thrilling ever, as you will enjoy numerous waterfalls and clouds.
