Mont Saint-Michel or as it is pronounced and spelled in English: Mount Saint Michael is a rocky island in Normandy, France. The following place is fantastic and it enchants with its unusual history and picturesque views. It is a castle and an island in one face (if you understand what I am talking about) and it is situated at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches.
In prehistoric times it was a bay, but in the course of time erosion made its deal and it became an island. The following sightseeing can be enjoyed in numerous post cards, shots and even movies.
