Millau Bridge (or as it is officially called Millau Viaduct) is a special road-bridge stretching from the valley of the River Tarn in southern France. This bridge considers to be the highest road bridge in the whole world. The Millau was built at the 300m (984 feet) height by famous British Architect  Norman Foster.

The Millau bridge was opened to traffic 4 years ago by President Jacques Chirac. Its main function is to relieve heavy congestion on the roads during the summer holiday season. The bridge stands on 7 pillars and from the first sight seems to float in clouds.
