This fifteen-mile stretch of rugged coastline forms a place of a great natural beauty and magnificent landscapes, with a myriad of sacred places and activities to enjoy. Much of Na Pali Coast is inaccessible because of sharp cliffs, the only one way to get there is by water. This place looks innocent and pristine, it is a real paradise right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Kauai is popular because of rich and abundant sea life and underwater world. I don’t have a clue where in the world you can find such beautiful creatures, some of them are endangered species, some are not. A great variety of species can be found there, and, one of the most exciting facts, that a lot of these species are native exceptionally to Na Pali and it is impossible to find them nowhere else in the world. Tropical fish, dolphins, green sea turtles, sea birds and monk seals will be in the center of your attention while whale watching, that is available from December through April. Hawaii is a dolphins winter home, a place where they give birth to their babies and relax.
One of my favourite excursions while there, is Poipu Sunset Sail. The excursion lasts 2 hours and it is really incredible, you can sail into the sunset, while listening to live Hawaiian music and enjoying various pupus (or appetizers), wine and beer.
Oh, before I forget, Na Pali is very popular because of Kauai boat tours, offering snorkeling and rafting as two great activities.
Don’t miss the tranquility of Na Pali!
