Hawaii Travel – Poipu Kai Resort

I have already written a lot about Hawaii and I’m still insistent and going on with my stories about this magical place. So, today, I’m telling you about one of the most popular and top beaches in the world – Poipu beach. It’s a breathtakingly beautiful place with splendid, paradise-like scenes, amazing white sand and clear, blue water.

This beach belongs to one of the safest beaches on Kauai (it is situated on the South Shore and its left side is of particular safety). Poipu Kai resort is ideal for: picnics, active rest (snorkeling, surfing, swimming with the endangered Green Sea Turtles, enjoying Monk Seals, kayaking, biking, helicopter tours, golf, sailing etc.), family rest and many other activities. The sun shines there all year round, thus, sunsets are really incredible, colours bright and sands white.

The best thing about Poipu is its convenient location, the paradise starts with you simply opening the door of your house. So, Poipu is not only about crystal-blue water and stunning natural beauty, it offers, first of all, a large variety of restaurants, cafes, night clubs and almost all types of accommodations from luxurious hotels to simple bed-and-breakfasts. Most Kauai resorts offer expansive lawns, gardens, nice paths, clean and stylish interiors, all the necessary amenities, beach towels, wireless Internet connection, private telephone, kitchens with microwave and dishwasher.

Kiahuna Plantation is my absolute favorit among all the Poipu condos. This condominium is located directly on the white sands of a great  Poipu beach. It’s an ultra-luxurious, first-class resort with a large swimming-pool, Jacuzzi and tennis courts, barbeque areas, lush green gardens, beautiful and cozy furniture, a high speed cable connection to the Internet and many other facilities.

Kauai vacation rentals are diverse, and it’s really challenging to choose the best company to organize your holiday. I think, Grantham Resorts will be a perfect variant. For already 23 years they are offering superb services and great proposals.

Aloha, Hawaii!

I wanted to mention that Poipu is in the midst of its largest construction phase ever. In addition to the 1000+ residences and shops going in at Kukuila, there are many other large projects going up in the area. There have been a plethora of complaints about noise dust. Hyatt, which is a good distance southeast of the construction, is a safe bet. Sheraton and the resorts mentioned on your site, are in the midst of it. This will be going on for the rest of this year, and beyond. On NCL cruise in port days, Poipu beach itself has tour buses drop off crowds on the tiny (and beautiful) beach. So 2008 might be a year to think about a north shore Kauai vacation, if these things concern you. But if you have any specific questions about construction, detours, or other suggestions, please let me know. Aloha.

We were house-sitting for my cousin in Coevorden and had the use of their car. We drove all over The Netherlands. There is a parking lot at the entrance to the village. Just park and walk in. It's well worth the trip.
