Summer. It’s so nice to plan your holidays, thus, you can make them diverse and exciting. Nobody has rejected an old and wise proverb - “Repair your cart in December; in July your sledge remember”. But, as for me, it’s no use to limit your own and long-awaited holidays to the traditional “2 weeks in the sun”. Let’s remember Europe, especially when there are so many cities to visit in it. Below, you’ll enjoy a short list of nice short city breaks where you’ll definitely have a lot of fun.
- Edinburgh
England is a great country and most people adore spending their summer holidays in London, but, they do forget that in summer it’s overcrowded and the weather is hot, why not think about Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. The climate is temperate (summer temperatures 18-19degC). In August it’s possible to enjoy the world famous Edinburgh Festival: arts, comedies, movies and other entertainment. But, please, remember, it’s better to book everything in advance.
- Barcelona
Barcelona. I like such cities, they can satisfy even the most demanding taste, everything is possible here: incredible and superb beach rest and numerous sightseeings visiting. It’s a lovely city with outstanding architecture, delicious Spanish cuisine and marvellous weather conditions.
- Venice
Venice, Queen of the Adriatic, a city with dual-nature, full of mysteries and paradoxes, great contrasts. Amazing city of canals and palaces, magnificent gondolas, exuberant festivals, very long history and unknown future… In summer you can enjoy the Redentore, an event in July, that lasts only one week and commemorates the end of a Venetian plague. Sometimes, tourists are tired from constant gay and celebration, you can make a short ride to Lido Island and it’ll be a perfect sweet escape.
- Prague
Prague is not all about fabulous architecture and bright, stunning photos, it’s a heart of Europe, stylish and beautiful city. It has exceptional pubs and dining services, trendy cafes and bares. Beer, enormous variety of its sorts and traditional tasty food. Breaks in Prague will be extremely fascinating and leave only pleasant memories!
- Amsterdam
Amsterdam is a city of great mixtures: super modern and stylish cars together with bicycles, old and tasty beer in small fashionable cafes, old crooked houses and modern buildings. But, these all manage to look really harmonically and nice. During the summer, you can enjoy the Grachtenfestival, a celebration of classic music and special boat performances on one of most spectacular canals in Amsterdam (lasts 9 days).

Hope, you’ll make your choice and will go on with our Europe discovering!

The idea is that you will get recommendations from the locals in cities that have added their respective favorite places. What makes this guide brilliant is that you begin by taking an image based profile test which will help you filter out places from people that are just like you.
So far in Beta but will they claim that they will grow fast from now and expand to more cities soon.
