World Map Made from Recycled Computers

If you really like everything unusual and at the same time can’t imagine yourself without travelling then the following installation is a must-see.

This world map was created from recycled computer parts by British artist Susan Stockwell. This map is not only great-looking but a gigantic one – 21 feet x 13 feet. The piece uses motherboards, electrical wiring, fans, and myriad other components.

By the way, all the recycled components were taken from the University of Bedfordshire. Are you into this masterpiece?

Extreme Hot Tubbing

I am here to tell you couple of words about Jaccuzzi.ch, that is a Swiss group of hardcore hot tub enthusiasts, who managed to make all the world smile while suspending a hot tub from the 600 foot high Gueuroz Bridge in Switzerland on October 1.

Would you love to try this extreme jaccuzzing? May be it is something all cool people do these days. And, well, it looks damn cool. By the way, the jaccuzzi is a hand-made one.

This mission is the craziest one ever … The group hung one of their creations 160m below Gueuroz bridge in western Switzerland.

Awful Massive Earthquake Hits Japan

One of the hugest natural disasters has happened to Japan a couple of days ago. An 8.9-magnitude earthquake hit off the east coast of Japan. According to the official data, this quake belongs to one of the largest in recorded history and here comes the worst part, it triggered a 23-foot tsunami.

Numerous witnesses claim that it was awful, the water battered Japan’s coast, killing hundreds and sweeping away cars, homes and everything on its way.

The following pictures show how terrible the situation really is.

Those incredible Chinese artists always left me with my mouth slightly agape. For example, Chinese artist Yin Xiuzhen uses clothing of a city’s inhabitants and creates three-dimensional textile models of their places of origin. The series ‘Portable Cities’ looks incredible.

Old shirts, trousers, pantyhose, dresses, coats, almost everything is used in he work. What skillful hands Yin has! The likenesses to the cities is really striking.

These ‘Portable Cities’ are fantastic!
